Giant's Lap

It has been years
since I was allowed to breathe.
Tormented by strangling hands,
getting drowned
in a barrel of lightless life.
Choked with fears,
magic lies.

I couldn't breathe for so long.
I didn't know why.
Like being at a bottom of a lake
— pressure relentlessly crushing down.

    Serpent of glowing lines
    Aweing up
    Pulls me off the ground
    above sheets
    — soaked with terrorous nights.

I couldn't see you.
I couldn't feel your reaching hand.
I didn't know
— you prism out
from the spotless whites
into rainbow clouds
on a rainless ground.

Now I know
Just to see you
I have to open eyes
— when it's dark.
I have to fill my lungs
— with salty seas.

Just to meet you
I must swim
— where no one does
over edges,
over love,
over life.
Just to softly fall
into Giant's Lap.
